LA DE DA PARADE - 12PM
No Yachats 4th of July is complete without the La De Da Parade, full of whimsical people-powered fun.
Parade Watchers - Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. You can watch the parade anywhere along Ocean View Dr. between W. 7th St and Beach Ave. or from the State Park lawn at the west end of 2nd St. Get ready for fun!
DIXIELAND JAZZ CONCERT - 1:30PM
Yachats Pavillion at 1:30pm LANCE MCCLEAN Banjo Virtuoso will play! Donations Accepted for the Food Pantry.
YYFAP DUCK RACE - 2PM
The race is on! Cheer on the huge stash of rubber duckies as they float to the finish line! Hear your number get called and win a prize! This tradition is a fundraiser for the Yachats Youth and Family Activities Program. Get your duck race tickets and snag a spot on the river to watch!
STYX STONES N’ BONES ANNUAL ROCK THE BLOCK PARTY - 6PM
The Styx, Stones n' Bones annual Rock the Block party is only s few days away! There will be great food, (catered by Big Dog BBQ ) fire dancing, great chili, and a lot of people hanging out and having a great time.
There will be music from South Low Kreau. Come dance to rock and country greats!
FIREWORKS - DUSK
4th of July Fireworks Display - The Fireworks will start at sundown and are launched over the mouth of the Yachats River. Find a safe spot to watch the amazing display!
JULY 5TH BEACH CLEAN UP - ALL DAY
Grab your gloves and your bags and head down to the beach to help clean up trash! Lots of extra people visiting just means extra trash is around, please do your part and help keep our coast clean! Low tide is around 7:30 am, so please head out early! And don’t feel constrained to just the beach, pick up trash whereever you see it and let’s make Yachats sparkle!!
