This spring sale will be open from 10 am to4 pm on Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30, at the Yachats Commons, W. Fourth St. andHwy 101.
Thanks to a wonderful donation of a private collection there will be about 500 books, ranging from $5 to $60 available in Room 3 of the Commons. All books are in pristine condition. Many are classics as well as first editions/first printings of fiction titles by well known authors. Books on English history will be available ranging from a 10 volume set printed in 1812 to popular editions of Peter Ackroyd.
The regular sale downstairs, has over 6,000 gently used treasures, from mysteries, cookbooks, gardening, biography, travel, history, romance and arts & craft. Fiction and nonfiction books will be $2, children’s books $1, with a separate section for $5 and up books. Jigsaw puzzles will be $5. A separate table with $1 paperbacks will be available upstairs near Room 3. Bargain hunters, dealers and book lovers bring your shopping bag (cloth bags are no longer for sale) and be prepared to find some bargains at the Friends of Yachats Library Spring Book Sale at the Yachats Commons 441 Hwy 101 N. in Room 3 and in the basement.
